The Cognex ‑‑RA is a factory-original remote camera head module from the In‑Sight  vision system series. Designed for machine vision applications, it separates the image sensor and optics from the main processing unit—ideal for tight spaces, temperature extremes, or hazardous environments. The unit features a rugged die-cast aluminum housing, built-in I/O and power connectors, and  MB non‑volatile flash memory for onboard job storage.
