The Novaris SL2‑7V5 is a DIN‑rail mounted, high‑energy surge protection module designed for safeguarding balanced pair signalling lines in industrial control and SCADA systems. Rated for line currents up to 500 mA and lightning impulse currents up to 20 kA, the device features a modular, pluggable top unit combined with a secure base providing earth connection. Ideal for protecting RS‑485/232, fieldbus, and sensor communications, it includes visual indication and optional alarm contacts for status monitoring.
